Timber Trail Campground is the perfect place to spend time with family and friends and enjoy nature in a relaxing atmosphere.  We are family owned and operated and take pride in offering a friendly and clean atmosphere for all your camping fun.  We think camping is about getting back to basics, while still offering sites with 20/30/50 amp electric and water, primitive camping sites, large group areas and other amenities.

Whether you are camping in a big rig or a small tent, we can accommodate any size unit. Being family owned we strive to make your camping experience one to remember by caring about what you expect and wanting you to come back again.  We are campers ourselves and want to make our campground a place that we would camp at.

We are only minutes from Door County. Unique shops, winery tours, art and craft shows can all be found. Many of our campers enjoy cherry and apple picking nearby. A walk on Algoma’s boardwalk provides a breathtaking view of Lake Michigan and the lighthouse.

Lake Michigan fishing is an experience you will never forget. Bring your boat or charter a trip. We can provide a list of charter captains for you. Pier fishing on the breakwaters and the Ahnapee River is easily accessible. Boat parking is available at the campground.

The Ahnapee State Trail adjoins the campground and extends north to Sturgeon Bay and other areas between Luxemburg, Kewaunee, and Casco. The gravel based trail is a non-motorized trail that is excellent for walking, hiking, biking and horseback riding and is also part of the Ice Age Trail. We provide camping for scouts, biking and other groups.
